  • The MCP3422 is a two channel low-noise, high accuracy delta-sigma A/D converter with differential inputs and up to 18 bits of resolution. The on-board precision 2.048V reference voltage enables an input range of ±2.048V differentially. The device uses a two-wire I2C? compatible serial interface and operates from a single power supply ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V. The MCP3422 device performs conversions at rates of 3.75, 15, 60 or 240 samples per second depending on user controllable configuration bit settings using the two-wire I2C Compatible compatible serial interface. This device has an onboard programmable gain amplifier (PGA). User can select the PGA gain of x1, x2, x4, or x8 before the analog-to-digital conversion takes place. This allows the MCP3422 device to convert a smaller input signal with high resolution. The device has two conversion modes: (a) Continuous mode and (b) One-Shot mode. In One-Shot mode, the device enters a low current standby mode automatically after one conversion. This reduces current consumption greatly during idle periods.   • The TC7106A 3? digit LCD direct-display drive analog-to-digital converters allow existing TC7106 based systems to be upgraded. Each device has a precision reference with a 20ppm/°C max temperature coefficient. This represents a 4-7 times improvement over similar 3? digit converters. Existing TC7106 based systems may be upgraded without changing external passive component values. The TC7106A low power drain and 9V battery operation make it suitable for portable applications. The TC7106A reduces linearity error to less than 1 count. Rollover error (the difference in readings for equal magnitude but opposite polarity input signals) is below ±1 count. High impedance differential inputs offer 1pA leakage current and a 1012Ohm input impedance. The differential reference input allows ratiometric measurements for ohms or bridge transducer measurements. The 15?Vp-p noise performance guarantees a great reading.   • The TC7117A is a 3? digit CMOS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) containing all the active components necessary to construct a 0.05% resolution measurement system. Seven-segment decoders, polarity and digit drivers, voltage reference, and clock circuit are integrated on-chip.
